Abeego Food Storage Review (an alternative to plastic wrap and bags)

A few years back I got my hands on a pack of Abeego flats.  From the manufacturer's website, they are "handcrafted with an authentic blend of beeswax, tree resin and jojoba oil infused into fabric made of hemp and cotton."  They are also made in Canada.  I loved them before I even used them!  There is such a beauty to their simplicity, with their creamy beeswax color and the single row of colorful stitching in the fabric.  They're lightweight and perfect for meals on the go!

Once I started using them I fell in love even more. They are so versatile! You can use them traditionally as you would plastic wrap, stretching over plates and bowls, and it is exceptionally pliable and really does adhere. But you can also fold them into little packets, wrap them on the cut end of fruit or vegetables, wrap them around a block of cheese, and much, much more.

The 3-Pack of flats comes with one each sized 7", 10" and 13"  Now Abeego also offers several options, including two sizes with closures, and a giant size flat.  Caring for Abeego products is simple - just hand wash with soap in cool water to preserve the waxes and oils in the product.  I've been so impressed by their durability and how long they have lasted.  Truly an exceptional, unique product!
